With thousands of new
websites being born every single day, getting traffic through search engines
has become a hard task.
Competition becomes vicious.
You need to be in the top 10 search results, or you won't be getting any
traffic.
Doorway pages have become an
arsenal in the search engine wars. There are many secrets on how to rank in
the top 10, and I'm going to share them with you.
Before we get started be
absolutely sure you have chosen the correct keywords your visitors will use
to find your site. You can always do this by brainstorming with family and
friends, and asking your newsletter subscribers for help.
The best doorway page you
could ever create, is a free report, that provides some valuable information
for your target market. These pages consist of a free report of 300 words,
with keywords in the meta tags, title, and within the free report itself.
Your title and meta tags should contain only two to three select keywords
you want to that individual page to harness.
Secondly, search engine
spiders will search the first 150 words in the body text of your page. So,
scatter your keywords through out your free report at a 1:30 ratio. (For
every thirty words, include at least 1 keyword) This will confirm to the
spiders that the content of your page matches your meta tags, and you will
be ranked higher.
The above method works great,
simply because you automatically become a credible resource to your
visitors, by giving them valuable information. And search engines prefer to
link to quality content. So it's a win -win situation.
The second method of doorway
pages are using automated software's to create the pages for you. What these
tools do, is create keyword rich pages, based on the information you provide
in the software. They help 'crack' the algorithms the search engines use to
rate webpages in the top 10.
When you have finished
building your doorways, you need to point the search engine spiders to your
pages. If you don't have the time to submit 20 doorways to 12 search
engines each, (which comes to 240 submissions) I have a better way to do
this.
What you need to do is build
what I call a "Hallway page" All this page consists of is links to
each of your doorway pages. Now all you have to do is submit the URL of your
hallway page to the engines. The search engine spiders will follow the links
and will index your doorway pages to be included in their engine.
Appearing in the top 10 is not a fluke. You may believe that appearing in
the top 10 is impossible, but it's very possible with patience, and knowing
how to do it!
